We made some last minute monsters for math class and they turned out so cute! Could you tell which one was made by a kindergartener and which one was made by a first grader?

We worked on our monsters during math class. It’s a great activity to supplement if you’re learning about shapes.

All you need is paper in multiple colors, scissors, and glue. We used black paper as the backdrop to make the monsters pop!

I gave them free creative reign when it came to making them. But they had one stipulation, every piece MUST be a shape like circles, rectangles, triangles, ovals, squares, and domes.

I was incredibly surprised how they turned out, especially since some of my five-year-olds cannot hold a pair of scissors correctly. It definitely is a monster mash. Happy Halloween, friends.
