If you need a simple activity to keep your littles ones busy during Easter, then this project is for you. The best part is that you'll probably have all the materials at hand. Here's what we did:

MATERIALS: White paper, construction paper in multiple colors, scissors, glue, and a pencil / pen.

1. Cut construction paper into strips. 2. Draw an oval on the white paper. Flip it over because you will use the oval as a cutting guide. 3. Lay the strips in a pattern, design, or decorative manner. 4. Glue the strips down.

5. Flip paper over and cut out the egg.

TA DA! An Easter Egg. We glued our eggs onto black paper to give it a visual pop!

Here's our baker's dozen of eggs. So easy, so fun, so colorful.
