Today we made ABC ORDER strips. I first spied them at Target's Dollar Spot, but their version was about number sequences. So I changed it up and made it into a language arts puzzle. Here's our version of it:

Side Note: I chose to slice the alphabet in half, using the first thirteen letters of the alphabet, because 26 was too many pieces for one puzzle. That's the great part about this activity, you could differentiate it with your student's ability.

STEP 1 | On the bottom of the page, write the letters. Make sure to separate them with a line. Then draw a picture.

STEP 2 - Color your masterpiece.

STEP 3 | Cut them into strips, using the separated lines as your guideline.

STEP 4 | Arrange them in alphabetic order.

TADA! ABC ORDER strips. Enjoy!
